KKP ตั้ง ‘ฟิลิป เชียง ชอง แทน’ ดำรงตำแหน่งกรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ ธนาคารเกียรตินาคิน เสริมทัพธุรกิจ บุกตลาดกลุ่ม Retail Business

      ‘กลุ่มธุรกิจการเงินเกียรตินาคินภัทร-KKP’ เดินหน้าเสริมทัพทีมผู้บริหารประกาศแต่งตั้งนายฟิลิป เชียง ชอง แทน เป็นกรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ ธนาคารเกียรตินาคิน จำกัด (มหาชน) ดูแลในส่วนธุรกิจลูกค้ารายย่อยและลูกค้าบุคคล (Retail Business) มีผลตั้งแต่วันที่ 1 ตุลาคม 2561เป็นต้นไป ทั้งนี้ นายอภินันท์ เกลียวปฏินนท์ ที่เดิมเคยดำรงตำแหน่งกรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่และประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร ยังคงดำรงตำแหน่งประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหารของกลุ่มธุรกิจการเงินเกียรตินาคินภัทร ซึ่งประกอบด้วยธนาคารเกียรตินาคิน จำกัด (มหาชน) บริษัท ทุนภัทร จำกัด (มหาชน) บริษัทหลักทรัพย์ ภัทร จำกัด (มหาชน) และบริษัทหลักทรัพย์จัดการกองทุนภัทร จำกัด เพื่อทำหน้าที่ดูแลยุทธศาสตร์ในภาพรวมและเชื่อมโยงการดำเนินงานระหว่างธุรกิจธนาคารพาณิชย์ และธุรกิจตลาดทุนของกลุ่มธุรกิจการเงินเกียรตินาคินภัทรให้มีบูรณาการและเกิดประสิทธิภาพสูงสุด

      ในวันที่ 27 กันยายน 2561 คณะกรรมการธนาคารเกียรตินาคิน จำกัด (มหาชน) ภายใต้ความเห็นชอบจากธนาคารแห่งประเทศไทย มีมติอนุมัติการแต่งตั้งนายฟิลิป เชียง ชอง แทน เป็นกรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ มีผลตั้งแต่วันที่ 1 ตุลาคม 2561 เป็นต้นไป โดยนายอภินันท์ เกลียวปฏินนท์ ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหารของกลุ่มธุรกิจการเงินเกียรตินาคินภัทร เปิดเผยว่า “นายฟิลิป เชียง ชอง แทน มีความเชี่ยวชาญในด้านธุรกิจธนาคารเพื่อลูกค้ารายย่อยอีกทั้งมีประสบการณ์ทำงานบริหารในหลายอุตสาหกรรมไม่ว่าจะเป็นการเงินการธนาคาร โทรคมนาคม หรือเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ ดังนั้น การแต่งตั้งนายฟิลิป จึงเป็นทั้งการเสริมความแข็งแกร่งให้กับธุรกิจลูกค้ารายย่อยและลูกค้าบุคคล (Retail Business) ของธนาคารและเอื้อต่อการเดินหน้าต่อเนื่องในด้านนวัตกรรมทางการเงินหรือดิจิตัลแบงกิ้งที่เป็นทิศทางของกลุ่มธุรกิจฯ”

        ในการนี้ นายฟิลิป จะรับผิดชอบธุรกิจในส่วนของลูกค้ารายย่อยและลูกค้าบุคคลตามที่ได้รับมอบหมายจากประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร และดำเนินงานร่วมกับคณะผู้บริหารท่านอื่นๆ ของกลุ่มธุรกิจการเงินเกียรตินาคินภัทรอย่างใกล้ชิด ในขณะที่นายอภินันท์ซึ่งยังคงดำรงตำแหน่งประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหารของกลุ่มธุรกิจการเงินเกียรตินาคินภัทร ที่ประกอบด้วยธนาคารเกียรตินาคิน จำกัด (มหาชน) บริษัท ทุนภัทร จำกัด (มหาชน) บริษัทหลักทรัพย์ ภัทร จำกัด (มหาชน) และบริษัทหลักทรัพย์จัดการกองทุน ภัทร จำกัด จะรับผิดชอบการดูแลยุทธศาสตร์ในภาพรวมและสร้างบูรณาการระหว่างธุรกิจธนาคารพาณิชย์ และธุรกิจตลาดทุนของกลุ่มธุรกิจฯ ให้เกิดประสิทธิภาพสูงสุด

        ทั้งนี้ นายฟิลิป เชียง ชอง แทน ปัจจุบันอายุ 53 ปี ได้เคยดำรงตำแหน่งกรรมการหรือผู้บริหารองค์กรชั้นนำหลายแห่ง อาทิ ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหารบริษัท อินทัช โฮลดิ้งส์ จำกัด (มหาชน) กรรมการ บริษัท แอดวานซ์ อินโฟร์ เซอร์วิส จำกัด (มหาชน) ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร บริษัท จีอี มันนี่ (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด และกรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ ธนาคารกรุงศรีอยุธยา จำกัด (มหาชน) ดังนั้น การแต่งตั้งนายฟิลิป จึงเป็นการเสริมทัพทีมบริหารตามนโยบายของกลุ่มธุรกิจฯ ที่มุ่งผสานความชำนาญเฉพาะ (Specialization) ของบุคลากรเพื่อสร้างขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันสูงสุด

KKP appoints Philip Chen Chong Tan as Kiatnakin Bank’s President to Make Headway in Retail Business

      Kiatnakin Phatra Financial Group – KKP –reinforces its executives lineup by appointing Mr. Philip Chen Chong Tan as the president of Kiatnakin Bank Plc. Mr. Philip will oversee retail business starting October 1, 2018. Mr. Aphinant Klewpatinond who formerly was both Chief Executive Officer and President, will remain the CEO of Kiatnakin Phatra Financial Group– which consists of Kiatnakin Bank Plc., Phatra Capital Plc., Phatra Securities Plc., and Phatra Asset Management Co., Ltd. Mr. Aphinant will take charge of overall strategy to optimize the synergy between Kiatnakin Phatra’s commercial bank and capital businesses.

      On September 27, 2018 the board of Kiatnakin Bank Plc., under the approval of the Bank of Thailand, approved the appointment of Mr. Philip Chen Chong Tan to the position of president; the appointment takes effect on October 1, 2018. Mr.Aphinant Klewpatinond, Chief Executive Officer, Kiatnakin Phatra Financial Group, revealed that “Mr. Philip Chen Chong Tan has expertise in retail banking and work experience in many industries such as banking and finance, telecommunication and information technology. Mr. Philip’s appointment will therefore strengthen Kiatnakin Bank’s retail business segment as well as allowing further progress in the areas of innovation and digital banking which are in line with Kiatnakin Phatra Financial Group’s business direction”

        As assigned by the chief executive officer, Mr. Philip will take charge of businesses related to retail clients and individual clients, and will closely work with other executives within the Kiatnakin Phatra Financial Group. Mr. Aphinant, who remains the chief executive officer of Kiatnakin Phatra Financial Group– which consists of Kiatnakin Bank Plc., Phatra Capital Plc., Phatra Securities Plc., and Phatra Asset Management Co., Ltd. – will focus on building overall strategy to optimize the synergy between Kiatnakin Phatra’s commercial bank and capital businesses.

        Mr.Philip Chen Chong Tan, 53, has held directorships or executive positions at several leading organizations. He was chief executive officer at Intouch Holdings Pcl., was a director at Advanced Info Service Pcl., chief executive officer at GE Money (Thailand) Ltd. and was president of Bank of Ayutthaya Plc. Mr. Philip’s appointment; therefore, serves to reinforce Kiatnakin Phatra’s executives lineup, in accordance with Kiatnakin Phatra’s policy to bring about maximum competitiveness from individual’s specialization.
